Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Rankr, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Rankr is operated by Axel Schapmann, based in France.

2. Description of service

Rankr is a SaaS platform that tracks how brands are mentioned across AI models (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and others). The service includes daily AI model queries, mention detection, sentiment analysis, competitor benchmarking, source tracking, AI-generated insights, and — if you choose to connect it — traffic analytics for visits referred by AI tools via the Google Analytics integration.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• One person or entity per account. Shared accounts are not permitted.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Rankr is a paid service. Plans and pricing are listed on our website.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• You can cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of purchase.
• Early adopter pricing is locked for the lifetime of your subscription, as long as it remains active.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service beyond what is provided in your dashboard.
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

6. Data and content

• You retain ownership of the data you provide (brand info, competitors, prompts).
• AI-generated responses and analytics are provided for your use within the platform.
• We do not claim ownership over your brand data or tracking results.

7. Third-party integrations

• You can optionally connect third-party services to Rankr (e.g. Google Analytics). By doing so you authorize us to access data from that service on your behalf, using the scopes you consent to, solely to power the related feature in your dashboard.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the accounts and properties you connect, and for maintaining the rights to share that data with us.
• You can revoke access at any time from the relevant dashboard page (e.g. the Disconnect button on the Traffic page) or directly from the third-party provider. On revocation we delete the stored connection record; data fetched live is never retained after your session.
• Rankr is not responsible for outages, rate limits, deprecations, or other changes in third-party APIs that affect the availability or accuracy of connected data.
• Use of data received from Google APIs is governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy and detailed in our Privacy Policy.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. AI model APIs may change, become unavailable, or modify their responses at any time. Rankr is not responsible for changes in third-party AI model behavior.

9. Limitation of liability

Rankr is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of France.
